Letters from Afrika.
Mr. Africa
…welp, johns in Africa…has been in Africa. Today he called me and I got to answer! He sounded so happy but at the same time so sad. When I answered the phone he screamed “YES THANK YOU GOD! HOLY COW I MISS YOU SO MUCH!” that’ll make a girls heart sink. I loved loved loved hearing his voice but it crushed me knowing I still couldn’t see him for almost a month. I feel like I can’t tweet about it because I’ll sound like a whiner but you don’t know how one single person can have a huge impact on your life until their gone for some time. I can’t wait to hear from him again. I definitely want to travel with him. I want to see the world. I know Tennessee is okay but their Is better out there! I miss the kid. I’m glad he’s having fun though :) 👍
South Africa
Johnny boy leaves for south Africa in a week and 1 day. Ohhhhh boy. I can, we can do it. He tells me he will be holding cheetahs and swimming with sharks. Ha I told him that’s stuff you tell me when you come back. He is going with a class and they will be staying in Jonaessburg (spelling could be wrong, my apologizes) which is every urbanized, but still… So far away. Plus he wants to play rugby while he is down there which is how he broke his leg in the first place. I can help but be nervous but I guess I don’t need to be. God will take care of him for me. I pray every night that he stays safe. He is going to come back looking about 16x tanner than I will though ha. Sheesh… It’s creeping up in us. 😁
